FAQ

Answers about the USDT-Mixer service, the swap process, security and technical questions.

About the Service

What is USDT-Mixer?

USDT-Mixer is a decentralized cross-chain swap route aggregator. We are not an exchange — we request quotes from multiple decentralized protocols (multiple decentralized liquidity channels), you compare and pick the best route in one interface, then swap straight from your wallet. No redirects to third-party sites.

How is USDT-Mixer different from a regular exchange?

A regular exchange gives you one rate — theirs. USDT-Mixer shows output amount, time and fee breakdown from multiple routes for your pair and amount at once — you compare and pick the best deal without leaving the platform.

What is "privacy mode"?

USDT-Mixer offers privacy mode only: no account, no email, no KYC, no ads or analytics scripts, every asset self-hosted, and a Tor mirror. All you need is a receiving address and a refund address.

Do I need to register or verify my identity?

No. No accounts, no forms, no documents. Just enter your wallet addresses and go.

The Swap Process

How does a swap work?

Five steps:

1. Choose your pair (what you send and what you want to receive)

2. Enter the receiving and refund addresses (both required)

3. See quotes from multiple protocol routes — pick the best one

4. Send your crypto to the deposit address generated by the protocol (shown in the interface)

5. The protocol executes the swap — crypto arrives at your address

Track the status in real time on the order page.

Where exactly am I sending the crypto?

To the deposit address of the decentralized protocol you selected. It is a standard transaction from any wallet — no wallet connection, no registration anywhere.

How long does a swap take?

Usually a few minutes to half an hour — around 10–15 minutes on average. The routes list shows the estimated time for each route; the actual time depends on chain confirmations and protocol load.

Why is the refund address required?

Cross-chain swaps can fail because of slippage limits, insufficient liquidity or network issues. The refund address is the only place a protocol can return your funds. Since USDT-Mixer holds no funds and has no accounts, without a refund address your assets may not be returned automatically. That is why it is mandatory.

What fees does USDT-Mixer charge?

USDT-Mixer does not add a markup on top of the protocol quote. The amount shown in the interface is the final amount; the fee breakdown transparently lists network fees, outbound fees and the affiliate fee (if any).

What if the swap fails or gets stuck?

If the swap did not complete, funds are returned to the refund address you set when creating the order. If nothing changes well beyond the estimated time, email support with your order ID and we will investigate.

Security and Trust

Does USDT-Mixer hold my funds?

No. You send crypto directly to the decentralized protocol address and it settles straight to your receiving address. We are not a custodian and maintain no wallet for your assets.

What if there is an issue with a protocol?

USDT-Mixer monitors the swap process and acts as a neutral third party in disputes. Reach out to support — we will investigate and help resolve it.

Is there support?

Yes. Contact us by email and we will respond quickly. To protect privacy, email is the only channel we offer.

Is my data or transaction history stored?

USDT-Mixer does not link swaps to an account — there is none. We do not collect personal data or keep a user transaction history. Order metadata (order ID, pair, addresses, status) is retained for a limited time for support and dispute handling.

Technical Questions

Which tokens and networks are supported?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Tron and their stablecoins, with more added as protocols are integrated. Search in the swap panel to see the current list.

Does USDT-Mixer work with any wallet?

Yes. Hardware wallet, mobile app, browser extension — it does not matter. USDT-Mixer never asks you to connect a wallet. Enter the receiving address and send from your own wallet like a regular transaction.

How do I use USDT-Mixer over Tor?

The .onion mirror is linked in the footer. The site loads no external resources; static pages work even at the highest Tor Browser security level. The swap panel requires JavaScript.

What happens if I enter the wrong receiving address?

Always double-check the address before sending. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed — not by us, not by the protocol. Copy the address and verify the first and last characters. Funds sent to a wrong address cannot be recovered.
